About Pastor Dr. Aqsa Johnson
Dr. Aqsa Johnson is the Founder and Chairperson of Messiah TV and an ordained minister of the Gospel under the Pakistan Gospel Assemblies (PGA). She comes from a distinguished missionary family and is the daughter of Bishop William Johnson, the founding chairperson of the Pakistan Gospel Assemblies — a visionary leader, apostle, and pioneer of the Pentecostal movement in Pakistan.
Dr. Aqsa is married to Mr. Cecil Albert, the Managing Director of Messiah TV. Together, they are blessed with a beautiful daughter, Hosanna Cecil.
As one of four children born to Bishop William Johnson and Nasim Johnson, Dr. Aqsa was nurtured in a deeply Christian environment. She embraced Jesus Christ as her personal Savior, received water baptism, and was filled with the Holy Spirit at the age of sixteen. Influenced by her parents’ compassion for the poor and their lifelong dedication to missionary service, she developed a strong passion for ministering to the suffering and bringing hope to the lost.
Driven by this divine calling, Dr. Aqsa pursued a career in medicine to serve both the body and the soul. In 1998, she graduated from the Medical University of the Dominican Republic, earning her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Before beginning her studies, God revealed to her that He would use her medical profession as a tool for evangelism, saying:
“I am not sending you only to study medicine; I will use you there as an evangelist. When you return to Pakistan, I will use you in a marvelous way — like Deborah — in your ministry.”

While studying abroad, she planted her first church in the Dominican Republic alongside other international students — a testament to her unwavering commitment to God’s mission.
Upon returning to Pakistan, Dr. Aqsa continued her medical practice while actively contributing to her father’s vision in the mission field. Over the years, she has combined her dual callings — medicine and ministry — to impact countless lives.
Dr. Aqsa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and a Doctor of Ministry from Vision Bible College and Seminary (PGA), as well as a Ministry Diploma from Vision Christian University, California, USA.
With more than 25 years of experience in ministry, she has faithfully served in multiple capacities, including:
- Church Planting and Evangelism
- Leadership Training at Vision Bible College and Seminary
- Women’s Ministry and Mentorship
- Medical Outreach and Humanitarian Work
- Television Ministry Through Messiah TV
Dr. Aqsa is a multi-talented woman of God — a poet, songwriter, gospel singer, counselor, and motivational speaker. Her anointed words and innovative spirit make her a powerful voice in both the church and the community.
Following in the footsteps of her father, she has wholeheartedly dedicated her life to advancing the Kingdom of God, winning souls, and empowering believers through faith, education, and compassionate service.
