Aqsa Medicure is a visionary medical outreach initiative founded under the leadership of Dr. Aqsa Johnson, a born-again Christian missionary and medical doctor. This ministry is a division of the Pakistan Gospel Assemblies and operates with a dedicated team of trained Christian medical staff committed to serving the underserved.

Our Mission

Aqsa Medicure was born out of God’s calling on Dr. Aqsa Johnson to provide healthcare, medical education, and spiritual care in areas where access to doctors and medical services is extremely limited. Through mobile medical camps and home visits, this ministry reaches rural and marginalized communities, offering essential healthcare services directly to the people who need them most.

Dr. Aqsa studied medicine and graduated in 1998 with an M.D. degree from the University of UTESA, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Her vision is to train Christian medical staff and establish a network of mobile clinics to serve villages and poor communities without access to healthcare. In addition to medical services, Dr. Aqsa also trains Community Health Evangelists to minister to the spiritual and physical needs of the lost and the sick.

Our Work

Aqsa Medicure has made a significant impact in rural communities across Pakistan. One notable example is the mud-brick making villages of Kasur District, where whole families live in conditions of extreme poverty. These communities suffer from:

• Lack of clean drinking water
• Malnutrition and food shortages
• Respiratory and other diseases from dusty, unsafe working environments
• No access to medical facilities or trained healthcare providers

Through our mobile medical camps, we provide:

• Free medical check-ups and treatment
• Medicines and vaccines
• Health education and awareness
• Spiritual guidance and prayer for healing

Our goal is to establish a fully equipped mobile field hospital, complete with a mobile surgical unit and laboratory facilities, to reach the 72% of Pakistan’s rural population that currently lacks access to healthcare.
